  • Question:  Where do you sell your products?

    Answer:    The primary place where we sell our products is here at our online store.  However, we also sell in a variety of branded marketplaces including Amazon, AOL, eBay and Overstock.  The advantages of shopping here include: the fact that this is the only place where all of our products are available for purchase in one place and quantity discounts for purchasing multiples of the same item are available here but not in other locations.  We also provide for gift cards and separate shipping addresses for each item in a single Order which is great when you are gift shopping.  Back to top.

  • Question:  How do I place an Order?  I'm having problems!

    Answer:    All you have to do is to click an Add To Cart button to place an item into your shopping cart and then when you have completed shopping, click a Checkout button from the My Cart summary at the top right of most pages or from your shopping cart page.  If you find that after you click an Add To Cart button that items previously placed in your shopping cart disappear, then this problem can usually be fixed by clearing the "cookies" in the browser that you are using.  If you don't know how to do this you can call us at 1-800-505-6693 for assistance or to place an order over the phone.  Back to top.

     

  • Question:  What payment methods do you accept?

    Answer:    We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Amazon Checkout payments.  After you finish shopping by clicking the Add To Cart button for each product that you want to purchase, click the Proceed To Checkout button where you will then be able to securely enter your billing, shipping and payment information.  During checkout all applicable shipping and Buyers Club discounts will automatically be calculated.  Back to top.

     

  • Question:  Will my Order be insured?

    Answer:    Yes.  We include the cost of insurance in our shipping charge.  If your purchase is lost or damaged during delivery it is fully insured and we will take care of your refund, credit, or product replacement.  Back to top.

     

  • Question:  Do you offer Quantity Pricing?

    Answer:    Yes.  We offer "Wholesale to the Public" quantity prices on many of our products.  If you purchase 2 of the same item you automatically receive a 10% discount on both items.  If you purchase 3 or more of the same item, the discount is 15% on all items purchased.  If Quantity Pricing is available you will see it on the Category and Product pages.  We also have a Reseller Program that requires a minimum order size and offers larger discounts to resellers who inventory our products.  Back to top.

     


  • Question:  I am purchasing a gift for someone else but do not want pricing information sent to them.  Can that be done?

    Answer:    Yes.  When you complete a gift message for either your entire Order or for individual items in your Order we automatically exclude any pricing information with the gift card we prepare and include for your gift recipient or recipients.  Back to top.

  • Question:  How can you offer such low prices for quality merchandise?

  • Answer:    Our quality products are priced at below wholesale, generally at 70% to 80% less than comparable retail or put another way, comparable retail averages 4 times higher than what you pay when you buy from us.  This is because you are buying directly from a very low cost source.  All of our products are hand made by indigenous Indians in Ecuador, a small country in South America, where the cost of labor, materials and overhead is much less than in the United States or other developed countries.  We maintain offices and a warehouse in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, and have spent over six years developing sources of supply there.  The fact that our items are all handmade in a low cost country by skilled artisans, who have passed their knowledge down through family members for generations, allows us to sell them at such below wholesale prices.  However, you should also know that most Ecuadorians live almost as well as most people do in developed countries because the cost of living in Ecuador is less than half of what it is in those countries.  Ecuadorians dress and eat very well.  Not all have 4 TVs and 2 SUVs but many of them do including some of the indigenous Indians that make our products.  These significant savings that result from most of our facilities and overhead being located in Ecuador are passed directly on to you and more than offset the slightly higher shipping costs from Ecuador.  Back to top.

  • Answer:    Please visit your order status page to see the status of your Order.  If the Status shows as Paid-Completed then your order was shipped on the date shown and an email was sent to you at that time.  If you did not receive that email, it most probably is in your email filter and if you want to prevent this from happening in the future you can lean how to "Whitelist" us here.  If the Status shows as Paid-Approved then your order will be shipped the morning of the next business day Monday through Saturday.  There is no online tracking available.  There is no need for concern if your shipment is lost or damaged since your purchases are fully insured.  Orders are normally received within 10 to 21 days.  Back to top.

  • Question:  How do I know how much it will cost to ship my Order?

    Answer:    Simply fill your shopping cart to receive an instant shipping quote.  We charge a fixed amount for shipping, handling and insurance from Ecuador that varies by country and by the total value of your purchases.  Because of these variables, the cost of shipping, handling and insurance may vary each time that you click an Add To Cart button.  You can easily remove items from your shopping cart if you change your mind or find that you are getting carried away.  Shipping generally costs a little more and takes a little longer than if our products were made in and shipped from the United States, because they are made by Indigenous Indians in Ecuador, a small country in South America, which allows us to sell our products at below wholesale prices.  This is a very small price to pay for being able to purchase Quality Merchandise at Great Prices even after considering the cost of shipping, handling and insurance from Ecuador.  Once you have completed shopping, just click Get A Quote on your shopping cart page to see your Shipping cost.  Note that there are no U.S. import taxes (although shipments to the States must pass through Customs) while certain other countries may impose taxes.  We also FREE shipping, handling and insurance costs when the total of your product purchases is more than $300.00.  This discount is automatic.   Back to top.

    Answer:    Yes.  You can have your Order shipped to yourself at a different address or to one or gift recipients or anyone else at any address in any of the 42 countries that we ship to.  Back to top.

     

  • Question:  How long will it take for me to receive my Order?

    Answer:    We normally ship within 24 hours after Order payment and our cutoff time for shipping is 8:00 AM ET 6 days a week excepting Ecuadorian holidays.  Shipments from Ecuador to the United States will normally be received within 10 to 21 days, although sometimes Customs and the post office are extra slow and it takes a little longer, while shipments to other countries may take longer.  We ship directly from Quito, Ecuador via international Air Mail postal services and will acknowledge your Order and your payment and notify you after your Order has been shipped.  If you don't receive these emails, your spam filter most likely stopped them and if you want to prevent this from happening in the future you can lean how to "Whitelist" us here.  We can not guarantee delivery times since we have no control over Customs or the postal services but we have found that the above estimates actually occur about 98% of the time.  Late deliveries are seldom very late.  The list of countries we ship to can be found here while the status of your Order can be found on our order status page.  There is no online tracking available.  There is no need for concern if your shipment is lost or damaged since your purchases are fully insured.  Back to top.
